Pantomime and clowning

French actor Julien Cottereau is a clown with extensive experience from all over the world, including a ten-year stint with the famous Cirque du Soleil. His means of expression are both noble and humorous, full of French charm and art beyond national understanding. Its charm lies in its naivety and the search for happiness in absurdly perceived situations. He can break every moment into a comic moment and exploit it to unpredictable ends, which only confirms the author’s unfathomable imagination. A clown who is compared to Mr. Bean or Roberto Benigni, he likes to take risks and enter uncharted territories together with the audience. People with their habits and quirks are his passion, while a child’s perception of the world is his inspiration. He can also move over all kinds of obstacles and play several actions at once, without losing track of them. The winner of the 2007 Molière award vibrates the strings of emotions, after the happy it strums the sad, just as after the light comes the darkness, the bright and the bright alternate with the dark and the gloomy. His clown opens the gate of fantasy and tickles the audience’s diaphragm, is a cure for bad moods and the weather, and at the same time, this Frenchman is a superbly equipped actor with a precise pantomime technique.
